Feldenkrais® Memphis

Most people experience some type of daily ache or pain.  Often we have no idea why we experience it.  We accept this discomfort as just a fact of being us and the process of aging.

The good news is we can identify the origin of the pain, tension or limitation through the Feldenkrais Method® and retrain our movement patterns so we can move better and feel better.  Feldenkrais® lessons create wonderful improvements such as moving with less effort, more comfort and greater range.

Even when not specifically targeted better posture, fuller breathing and an overall sense of ease result from a Feldenkrais® lesson.

If muscle tension or injury is preventing you from moving as well as you can
the Feldenkrais Method® can help you.

If you have limitations as a result of a stroke or other neurological issue
the Feldenkrais Method® can help you.

If you simply want to improve your golf swing or running stride
the Feldenkrais Method® can help you.

The Feldenkrais Method® can help you.

Through the process of consciously introducing novel movement, I work with you to reprogram your movement and shed old painful patterns as I establish efficient new ones.

Attention and awareness are key to making these changes and they come naturally and pleasantly through participation in this process.

You will rediscover the infinite range of learning that your body was meant to enjoy.

Students are often surprised at how much such a pleasurable and gentle process actually improves their movement.

This is done without the necessity to push it or work through pain because we remain within a range that is comfortable and known.   The nervous system learns rapidly in the ideal conditions established during a Feldenkrais® lesson.
